Our Lenten Journey

This past Wednesday was Ash Wednesday and it marked the first day of Lent.  My kinders began to prepare for our Lenten Journey by creating this bulletin board in the hallway.  We cut out our feet and placed our name along with "walks with Christ" as we added the footprints to our path to Christ.

As our journey through Lent continues, our class has pledged to pray more.  We created a wall of our daily prayer petitions.  These are completed in the morning as morning work and we tack them on their cross.  Students will take home their crosses along with their prayers at Easter.

Lastly, we created Mosaic Crosses in our Art Center this week.  These are beautiful!
